The Telegraph of yesterday was writing about 400 of the RM being in Norway (with some Dutch marines)
- anyone know if they fit in, with the "big" exercise?
Ever-lasting truths: Multi-year budgets/ planning by necessity have to address the painful questions; more often than not the Either-Or prevails over Both-And.

Given the scale of the Dutch "Marine" side for the exercise, I would say its a fair bet.

In parallel, in the Baltic:
"Northern Coasts 18 (NOCO18) will take place in Finland from 25 October to 8 November 2018. Appx. 4.000 persons and dozens of surface vessels and aircraft will participate in the exercise.
The aim of the exercise is to
- train naval international combined operations at unit and command levels in all fields of naval warfare, and to
- enhance the interoperability of the multinational units, especially when operating in coastal conditions.
