Defence Select Committee meeitngs

Post by marktigger »

Some interesting comments on procurement this morning. Especially in relation to SME's access to the procurement process. i thought the point was put very well that BaE and Babcocks had in recent years hoovered up many of the SME's.....But I thought that was govenrment policy under the defence industry diversification strategy brought in by Nu Labour.

Oops!

It was the most extraordinary video.

Is it the Rt Hon Mr Mark Francois’s turn?

We can expect fireworks if so!

It’s time for someone to cut through the jargon and call out the nonsense.

No MR Francois is at best a useful henchman to let loose on an errant CS\officer\company rep not suited to run the whole thing.

I don’t disagree with that but is there an obvious alternative?
