Apply to become a moderator

Due to an increase in activity, the UK Defence Forum is looking for a new moderator. If you are interested, please read below.

Responsibilites:
As a moderator, you will be responsible for the moderation of all content on the forums, ensuring that it abides by all the UK Defence Forum Rules. Your responsibilities will include (but is not limited to): moving content, deleting content, locking threads, sticking threads, handling forum reports, and dealing with rule-breakers (with the ability to hand out bans and warnings). You will have full access to a Moderator Control Panel.

Requirements:
Please only apply if you meet the following requirements:
  • A minimum of 50 posts.
  • A minimum of 0.5 posts per day.
  • A clean warn log.
  • An above-average understanding of UK defence and security.

How to apply:

After applying:
After you have successfully applied, your application, your account and all its associated content will be reviewed to determine your suitability for the role. In addition to this, you will also be given a short quiz to complete via PM. You will be informed of your application's status by 23 January 2016.

The final vote:
If your application is accepted, you will pass on to the final vote alongside other successful applicants. The vote will take place on 23 January 2016, allowing all members of the UK Defence Forum to vote for their preferred new moderator. The poll will close a week later on 30 January 2016 and the applicant with the highest votes will become the UK Defence Forum's new moderator.
