This is not the US system we don’t have a president!

You don’t vote for a prime minister you vote for a party and have cabinet government and cabinet responsible in decision making. Hence why cabinet resignations does for PMs

She will only be PM for a maximum of 18 months or so before the electorate can kick her out, or not.

Contrast that with unelected EUrocrats, appointed PMs of Italy etc...

She will replace Boris Johnson as the next UK Prime Minister on Tuesday 6th September 2022.
