Just ignore 'em.

They'll go away or grow up (preferably both), their choice.

This article by a Swedish commentator attempts to explain why not a single European government has yet come out publicly in support of France over AUKUS.
Why France Is Getting No Sympathy for Its Lost Sub Deal
Its European neighbors have long bristled at Paris’ self-dealing and aggressive sales tactics.
ELISABETH BRAW | SEPTEMBER 21, 2021

France is fuming over AUKUS—the new tripartite security arrangement that scuttled its contract to build submarines for Australia—but is receiving scarcely any expressions of sympathy from fellow EU member states. That may be because France itself uses some distinctly tough tactics to secure arms exports, and sells to customers others deem unsavory. Yes, Paris considers arms exports essential to its sovereignty, but its friends too are interested in sovereignty, not to mention fair play.

We need a Bay on the EEZ boundary between the UK and France, to scoop up all the passengers and their boats into the well deck and safely return them to France. Even paint one in Coast Guard colours, and have some friendly Marines on hand to help out and support the Customs and Border Agency staff. Anyone with a legitimate asylum claim could even be processed on board.

Serious, and to my mind credible, allegations against the French and Egyptian armed forces in this article:

France sells 12 used Rafales to Croatia

Fortune favors brave sir, said Carrot cheerfully.
What's her position about heavily armed, well prepared and overmanned armies?
Oh, noone's ever heard of Fortune favoring them, sir.
According to General Tacticus, it's because they favor themselves…

That has to be funded by very favourable French loans. I did think the F-16 was the front runner with either new build or rebuilt Viper variants on offer.

Nope. Croatia will fund this by normal loans on a market.
About F-16s, Viper was too costly and, more importantly, they could not be delivered before 2026, while current MiGs are allready under "atomic resources" artificially extended up to 2024, while Israeli F-16s carry a risk of another US ban on sale. Gripen was never really an option.

Not meeting the in-service requirement I can understand, but the F-16V being more expensive then the Rafale is harder to swallow.

More expensive for buying, not for later use. US offer was about 1,5 bln. while Rafale about 1,1 bln.
