The late Queen's eight grandchildren have stood vigil around her coffin as she lies in state at Westminster Hall. It is the first time in history that the grandchildren of a monarch have taken part in the ceremony. The King's sons William and Harry were joined by Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, the children of Princess Anne, as well as Prince Andrew's daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, who are Prince Edward's children.

The final mourners have paid their respects to the Queen lying in state in Parliament's Westminster Hall. The last member of the public to pass through the hall was Chrissy Heerey, a serving member of the RAF from Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.

Members of parliamentary staff and, finally, Black Rod Sarah Clarke were the final people to pay their respects after the last of those who had queued had been through Westminster Hall.

Trooping The Colour 2023

(The Telegraph) 17th June 2023
King Charles III was treated to an extended military flypast following Trooping the Colour after his Coronation day display was scaled down due to bad weather.

Around 70 aircraft from the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force, some of which date back to the Battle of Britain memorial flight, took part in His Majesty’s first official birthday celebrations.

The King, Queen and other members of the Royal family watched from the Buckingham Palace balcony as the aircraft flew over The Mall in a six-minute display.

In one memorable moment, 18 Typhoons formed the shape of a “CR” - standing for “Charles Rex” - which drew applause from the family members on the balcony.

The aircraft took off from 15 locations across the UK before meeting in the south-east of England to fly over the Palace.

Thought it was a spectacular show they put on a lot of hard work in the background. Particular highlight the coningsby typhoons.

Agreed. Well done to all those involved.

Except the BBC director, who's coverage of the flypast was not good enough.

View of flypast from Waterloo Bridge.

(BluelightTV) 17th June 2023
Over 70 aircraft & helicopters fly over London and other parts of the UK to mark the end of the Trooping the Colour parade & the official birthday of King Charles III.

This was near enough the flypast that was supposed to happen on his Coronation last month, however it was hampered by poor weather & was decided by the MoD to try again for June's Trooping the Colour parade.

It's also the last sortie of the RAF's C-130J Hercules which have now officially been retired.

20 typhoons, out of ~100, 20% or 1/5
6 Lightnings, out if 30 ( really 26 but for the sake of the argument.) 20% or 1/5

Dr Mark Felton discovers a well hidden secret royal operation..

(Mark Felton Productions) 24th March 2024
In 1945, a top secret mission was ordered by King George VI, a mission to help some of his German relatives, some of whom had been close to Hitler or had fought against the Allies. This mission was covered up until now, when, following exhaustive research, I finally found the truth, a truth that gives us a different and new perspective on Britain's wartime king.[/quote[
