I can think of easier ways to remove the wings.

Well nipper lent me his hat last year as it was freezing in the boatyard, only to express that he wants it back when he is off somewhere cold...he wants it back now.

Good luck to him, it sounds like it will be very cold.

The Baltic can be cold.

HMS Prince of Wales will serve as the command ship for NATO’s Response Force.

This role will see the vessel sailing to the Arctic, the Baltic and the Mediterranean Seas.

Early start for nipper, he is really looking forward to it! 0745 leaving Pompey I think.

Departure time confirmed for PoW, then QE gets a bows south winding at VJ for 12:30.

I would have purchased that if the F-35s looked even a wee bit better.

You can buy better F-35 models elsewhere. A quick Google and I found these, although you'd have to paint & detail them yourself.

I would have much preferred the same company to have produced and marketed a 1/350 scale model kit under it’s AIRFIX brand, but perhaps that may be in the pipeline ?

Not sure. I can ask but at the moment she is out just doing a shakedown after being alongside for a while, and probably to make sure the new NATO bling doesn't fall off under duress!

Nothing to add yet, nipper says boat transfers most of the day removing FOST peeps.

He is down below decks as a dishwasher this jaunt out, apparently to achieve promotion you need to do a few jobs around ship to help...he chose washing dishes... surprised as he kept well away from that at home!

Well you now know he is fully trained in that area next on to the hover remember join the navy and train to keep mum happy
