Being depressed is better than dead. With Fansidar it was not a user-defined option as the discussion now goes.

I took it when travelling to the more difficult malaria (trait) infested areas. Then it was suddenly withdrawn when the 200+ so far suppressed death stories had been analysed as a sample (deaths from the pre-emptive medication; not from malaria)
Ever-lasting truths: Multi-year budgets/ planning by necessity have to address the painful questions; more often than not the Either-Or prevails over Both-And.
