Seen it happen, GR7 in the drink off a carrier, OC 1(F) bangs out of the submerged jet.

I would've assumed it was dangerous due to the cushioning effect of the water and physiological effects on the body.

Probably not as dangerous as sinking to the bottom of the oggin.... :o ;)
