I wish we could learn frrom the Swedes dispersed deployment and apply it to our F35B's. Like any military tactic, we need to practice it to make it work and to get the most for RAF out of their STOVL jets.

I'm sceptical that a lot of these ideas are actually workable. There's a fair bit of smoke and mirrors in this.
On the face of it it seems plausible, but with ever more complex aircraft that require more support than ever, the idea of operating remotely with minimal support isn't realistic.

The above point makes a lot of sense to me and I also think from a risk / reward point of view trying to operate a F35 from a road carries too much risk of damaging a very expensive aircraft on take off or landing (and of course the additional risk to the pilot albeit I am not so much envisaging catastrophic crashes as FOD or putting too much strain on the landing gear). I guess the counterpoint is that the USMC envisage operating them from rough airstrips on Pacific islands?

Naval News reporting Saab (Kockums) starts production of the composite five story masts for the Finnish Navy 3,900 ton Pohjanmaa class frigates, masts will include their Sea Giraffe 4A FF (Fixed Face) 1 x 2 meter AESA-arrays to cut response times and a single rotating Sea Giraffe 1X found inside, the two complementing radars operate in S and X band respectively.

An undersea telecoms cable connecting Estonia and Sweden has been damaged, the Swedish government has announced.
Civil defence minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin said the cable was damaged but not completely destroyed.
The cable is believed to have been affected at the same time as a gas pipeline connecting Finland and Estonia was damaged earlier this month.
Sources told the BBC Finland suspects Russian sabotage in "retribution" after the country joined Nato.

Think they're well aware that that ship has sailed, as has NATO's fleet replacement.

But...there is the potential of a couple of sales for the Scandinavia/Baltic region as a joint fleet..Poland will inevitably get Globaleye, add in Sweden's fleet of 2 and a couple more from a joint Norwegian/Finnish/Danish and (possibly) German contribution would give total coverage over most of the JEF region.

Gobaleye for NATO still isn't strictly out of the question.

This initially appeared a very odd choice given that the 35mm is not made in Sweden, either as a gun or ammunition, whereas the 40mm originated there and is in the supply chain and has full logistical support. According to the Swedish Government: "The CV9035 MkIIIC is to be ordered to use the assembly line already in place for the upgrade of the CV9035NL, and therefore speed up the procurement process. A future order of a variant of the CV90 Mk IV will be placed on a later date to expand the Swedish numbers of CV90's in use"

Sweden tightens it’s “Grip” ?

Hungary’s interim President Lásló Kövér has now five days to sign the document, after which it will be flown to the United States and handed over to the State Department, the official depository of the accession protocols of all NATO members.

Once this is done, the following steps will be mainly bureaucratic with Sweden’s accession being announced by its Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, and a flag-raising ceremony will take place at NATO’s Headquarters in the north of Brussels, alongside its 31 military allies.
