New Site Layout

Post by The Armchair Soldier »

So, as you may have noticed, the site has undergone a minor layout adjustment.

Due to the high number of equipment threads, we decided to split the Equipment section into several Service-specific sections. We hope this way you will be able to find your desired equipment threads more easily.

We have also merged the Photos and Videos section with the Equipment section, so users are now free to use the equipment threads to share images and videos, as well as for news and discussion. All non-UK Defence image threads, which were in the Photos and Videos section, have been moved into the Off-Topic section.

Should you be confused as to where to place a thread, just throw it into the General Discussion section and a member of staff will move it to where it needs to be.

Aside from the changes mentioned above, the rest of the forum has remained the same.

Cheers,
The Armchair Soldier & RetroSicotte

Where did the A400 thread go? Think you might have lost it down the back of the sofa! :)

There was a mishap whilst we were moving threads and unfortunately it got deleted. :(

If anyone is willing, feel free to set the thread back up again.

That one's on me. I moved it, noticed it left a shadow thread, deleted the shadow thread and then was stunned to discover the forum deleted BOTH.

So, oopsie.

I've created two Harrier threads, new one for RAF Harrier and the original one is now for the RN Sea Harrier.
Also replaced the lost RAF Airbus A400M thread with the start of a new one.

Arfah's thread on Army utility vehicles seems to have vanished.
Edit. No, found it. Has been moved to Joint Forces

The topic in the Political Discussion section is just a "shadow topic" showing where it was placed before we moved it into General Discussion. I've removed the shadow topic now as it seems to be causing some confusion with members. ;)
