According to the author the thing can run on water! Awesome, the world is saved.

I don't see why they would desire to use hydrogen, its an awful thing to handle.

Well, it is quite desperately needed. DROPS is technically out of service since December 2014, teary goodbye facebook posts from the RLC included... but it is actually still in use because, simply, the replacement never arrived. High time they started thinking about the issue. The requirement used to be far higher than 400 trucks, too, so it really would be a start, not a finish.

I hope and believe that the 400 would be additional to the EPLS already in use.
