Winter rolls in fast and early in part of the world and dosen't ease its grip before mid April.
I believe the temperature has already dropped to 3 degrees overnight there. Winters can get down to seriously low temperatures. This has aided with encouraging troops to surrender.
Interestingly the russian troops have suffered the same problem as nazi Germany did during Op Barbarossa, when they didn't supply troops with winter uniform as it was going to be a "quick victory". Hopefully the russian terrorists have dumped the clothing they had for the initial invasion.
Let's hope so Swoop, it's turning into a full collapse in places as Russians surrender who can't outrun the advance. Meanwhile Russia has gone cap in hand to China, desperate to get them to underpin the invasion.
China are playing it cool and keeping a boot in both camps, they aren't stupid and certainly won't back a loosing side, or cause issues for themselves with the West.
Chances are Russia will come out this flat broke and a satellite of Chinese, firmly under their control and dependant on their charity.
Signs of support for Putin cracking too, hopefully someone will make a move on him, put a bullet in his head and switch this utter madness off....
