Aeralis has gone throw a mild redesign.

Lots of new proposed engine options and even a fuselage stretch from the AAR and ISTAR variant.

It went from a thing with a lovely frontal proportions to a mix of A-4 skyhawk and Northrop Grumman EA-6B Prowler.

I have to say, after listening to their founder, I question whether Aeralis have been going for the right market.

Is fast jet training really a commodity? I mean if you get it slightly wrong / sub optimal you could end up losing many multiples of the the cost of the training platform. If I were an airforce investing n 5th and 6th gen fighters I'd say "give me the absolute best training platform and modularity be damned".

Interesting that their new Chairman is former head of Airtanker. Unmanned mini tankers that can be rented by the hour and fly off the carriers - that sounds a much better bet IMHO
