Anybody know about OP Broadshare?
Defence medical service mainly or other units?
The sister in law is in ICU and is talking about army bods turning up soon.
Operation Broadshare
Re: Operation Broadshare
From what I've seen (public domain only) it's providing around 10000 personnel to provide medics, logistics and security to major public venuesLuke jones wrote:OP Broadshare

Which is Very Good!
THE ONLY problem is that while
- the MOD holds very useful assets that can be fielded
- fielding most of them is predicated on fielding double-hatted personnel... FROM THE NHS!
But making the logistics around them. for the best use, will BE A VERY BIG ++

Could be a very interesting OP if things develop the way they might. Very complicated, very involved. Imagine if the UK ended up on lockdown and personnel are needed to to be on the streets to help inforce it. Just read about maybe military police in prisons aswell. Could be gigantic.Caribbean wrote:From what I've seen (public domain only) it's providing around 10000 personnel to provide medics, logistics and security to major public venuesLuke jones wrote:OP Broadshare
