Project Telum / Swift Aircraft

Post by SD67 »

I thought I'd start a new thread - apologies if covered elsewhere

Project Telum - part of the RAFs Rapid Capabilities Office aims to among other things generate a replacement basic trainer system (or maybe service, not sure they've settled on the model)

They're conducting an Industry Survey now, one of the companies in the frame are Swift Aircraft, who look interesting

They're a real company, based in RAF Coltishall, and have been around since 2004. They also are the parent of Europa kit aircraft and provide support for the Slingsby.

Apparantly they're building a prototype now, which all going well would be both a Grob replacement and offered on the civilian GA market

Interested if anyone has any other info
