Re: Scotland (Political Thread)

The fact that the Scot's still think, after 300yrs, that they'd be better off with the Continental Euro trash in Brussels, shows that the Union isn't worth saving. If they don't feel British after 300yrs, they never will, time to be shot of them. Let the EU bankroll them instead of the rUK bunging t...

Re: Dreadnought Class SSBN

I wonder how the RN comes to a figure for the number of separate Female crew berths? Do they expect an upper limit on the percentage of crew that will be female, you can't leave bunk space empty in anticipation of that figure being lower or higher and if the male & female berthing's are practica...

This is a ship that's meant to deploy globally, so Rosyth is hardly an issue. Portsmouth, I get, but why other places on the south coast as opposed to anywhere else nationally? Rosyth will be a problem for long term spending so long as the idiot Scottish population keep drinking from the SNP 'Kool ...

Best tactic we could employ right now is to walk away and let pressure build up from within the EU capitals. As I understood it, Panthers, Huskeys & Foxhounds were all meant to replace Land Rovers..

These things were a UOR purchase for desert conditions in Afghanistan, they are completely unsuited to the Northern European climate.

And we would of ended up with just 2 smaller carriers as 2 is “all we need” in government eyes. No, we would have been locked into a 'it will be cheaper to build them than cancel' contract whichever way the RN had gone because Gordon Brown would have been looking after the Clyde, as he did with the...

why the UK ended up with two large carriers instead of 3 little ones.
'3 little ones' wouldn't have been the 20,000t Invincible class carriers, they would have been a more capable, 30-40,000t class, probably with a maximum 18 (24 surge) F-35B air wing on each.
