NATO as an organization should have snapped up the remaining "white tail" C17s while they had the chance. All gone now I think ? Agreed. NATO or EU. Can't believe that NATO only got 3... Maybe France should have struck up a deal with the UK, along the lines of "we'll help buy / suppo...

Re: Project Crowsnest- status?
If anyone is interested, Air International magazine has a good article on crowsnest. From project inception through to planned deployment. Same mag also has an article on P-8, including RAF procurement lots and that we would get our allies to help out with air refuelling if it's need (author didn't ...

Re: Scotland (Political Thread)
The SNP is launching its general election manifesto, which calls for an independence referendum "at the end of the Brexit process". The UK government has already rejected Nicola Sturgeon's call for a vote to be held in the autumn of next year or spring of 2019. But the SNP says that posit...

Surely if it is able to be set up for STOL then it won't have much forward momentum and would just need to use a bit more deck space.

It was interesting to see the Stoner 63 hatchet job and HK's A3 Body Assembly, I wonder if they also have a TMH in the works too, maybe in a polymer?
Hope the forth vid is the double 0 and XL64 (and gets made public soon) how they went downhill from those to the L85 A1's.....

Re: Brexit - The UK's EU Referendum & Withdrawal
Tony Blair has urged voters not to elect MPs who "back Brexit at any cost", whichever party they are from. The ex-PM told the BBC that Brexit was a bigger issue than party allegiance for the general election on 8 June. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-39685678 Does anyone still liste...

Little bit strange as the French Army goes to the 416, that they move away from it. And in 7.62x39, it says replace but I wonder if they would have both available?
