Re: Russian Armed Forces
1st Guards Tank Army, Western Military District is 'reformed.' Intention to equip with the most modern systems (speculative about T-14 Armata). http://www.janes.com/article/57828/russia-completes-reformation-of-1st-guards-tank-army Related, a bit dated now. I saw an editorial via WW2 History mag re...

Hope this does not break the site rules, but I've been wanting another gander at this oldie for awhile now ( For personal use ofc ;D ). The quality is ok, but the sound has a buzz; download is better. It certainly still makes me smile; best "documentary" ever on the Falklands  ht...

Re: Gamer Thread
My personal favourite pixelated weapon system was the PPSH41. Good for close quarters, full auto for suppression and plenty of time between magazine changes due to its 75 round capacity. Seldom ever play those type of games now, though. Good choice. The 7.62x25 is a vicious little cartridge. A thre...

Re: Australian Defence Force
There's also the new 80/20 rule: - in 20 yrs's time - you'll still have 80% (not personnel) of today's force So how do you get smart about transforming all of the 100% with that 20% - it is called force multiplyers - but what are they (beyond the manufacturers's terminology)? That's the million dol...

Interesting bit about the F-22 interception of the F-4's: "This isn’t the first time Raptors played tag with foreign jets in the Middle East. In early 2013, F-22s intercepted two Iranian F-4 Phantoms that approached an American drone over the Persian Gulf. The Raptors outright taunted the Irani...
