If the Albions go, C2 should just move to the CVFs. That depends on where the planning rooms are in relations to the comms suite, not going to work if they are a seperate areas within the ships. Was one of the major alterations of the Canberra class superstructure for incresed C&C and planning ...

The Osprey,s ability for refuelling was from a kit development , the Chinook also has demonstrated air to air refuelling of other aircraft with a similar kit ,could this be feasible for the R.N for its F35B ? Very interesting, I haven't seen or heard that only seen them being the receiving aircraft

I heard the USMC are considering the use of Ospreys for their ships to extend the range of their F35Bs. I am sure that once they have it up and running we will copy them. Due to the cost of the machines I cant see that happening unless they are a replacement for Chinook, Whilst they are faster and ...

looks like they are getting the ball rolling on Abrams upgrade. Wonder if it would just easier for us to buy new remanufactured M1A2 SEPv3 from the US then send our old stock back to the US.

Re: Ocean Class Helicopter Carrier (LPH) (RN)
So you mean Ocean gap is only 1year "gap". Yes it is a problem, but can be compensated by Albion and Qnlz combined and anyway it is only 1year. Also, you say you want to keep Ocean with her crew, with PoW already getting most of her crew several months before her commissioning for trainin...
