Oh and BTW this 'most extreme type of terrain' is the one Russian armoured forces will take advantage of to manoeuvre over and outflank ! By the same argument, our MBT are strategically slow, so a wheeled vehicle much more capable of strategic lift and self-deploy to the front. Gaining the firm gro...

Re: Multi Role Vehicle – Protected - MRV(P)

What's the appeal of the Pandur? US Special Forces use it. Yes, I know that, but on paper it appears to be unremarkable. I'm interested to know why it's preferred over say a Canadian AVGP? Or even Bushmaster for that matter. At 13 t it's a mountain pony ... but has other limitations: https://www.bb...

Re: Warrior Armoured Vehicle Variants (British Army)

We'll see if Warrior CSP gets cancelled and replaced by a Boxer IFV variant. Why on earth would one cancel Warrior to replace it with a heavy wheeled vehicle that can't accompany and support Challenger over difficult retain? The French have done it. The assumed mobility of Boxer is that it will be ...

An interim on what turret? Which one has already been fitted, tested, integrated, and is ready to manuacture en masse? Not a turret, Kongsberg Protector RWS. So a single missile and a 50 cal. Not even what most people have had since the 90s... To be fair, the idea that a medium weight vehicle would...

Julian Nettlefold has claimed "WCSP would be replaced by another variant of Boxer with a Rafael CT40 or 30mm customised turret as chosen by Lithuania." This Israeli turret is unmanned so it wouldn't impact the number of dismounts in the Boxer infantry version. See the brochure below. http...

What you're seeing is the firing gases hitting upward flowing air. It's not venting firing gases. AJAX vehicles hav...
