Somewhat surprised you can get so close, unless the person filming has some kind of access pass. Looks like it would be quite simple to drive a very large VBIED in and put a carrier out of commission / make it a TCL.

I'd laugh my tits off if it just sits there waiting a year for a bob to put a final bolt in just to meet the governments stupid, slow and inefficient timetable.

A 7k+ military vessel, with 4x 76mm guns, radar, sonar and electronic warfare suite... Yeah no need to escort it... In fact good practice for RN and actually a good use for an OPV, showing we're aware and paying attention, but not escalating for no reason. If we had a vessel like that in or near Rus...

Maybe with external tanks if plumbed for wet stores?
If not I'd imagine only a tiny % of an increase if any I'd expect.

I suspect for the weapon loads likely to be carried, at least initially, that SRVL will be unnecessary.

What about HEDP I reference to the M230LF?
Same as apache uses, high explosive dual purpose.
M789 round has 25mm RHA penetration at 50 degrees at 500 metres.
Enough against light vehicles, and mission kill against apc/ifv's?

Personally I quite like the look of the M230LF, ammo commonality with apache, more hitting power than .50 cal. https://www.kongsberg.com/kda/products/defence-and-security/remote-weapon-systems/protector-rws-lw30/ In a remote turret with 8 dismounts. Optional 7.62mm MG and optional Javelin anti-tank ...

Surely we can afford three or four of these lovely guns with the relevant support package for the B2 Rivers. I don't know what's the cost, but I doubt it's more than 5 mil. USD a piece. But once you add all the costs of training, support, integration to the combat management systems, separate ammo ...
