Or it may be an AW-189. A bit confused. One thing we can be certain of is it's not the thing Leonardo are trying to sell which is the 149. Leonardo said in one press output that they would be showing a aw189 painted black to demo it as what aw149 would look like as the aw189 is the non-military ver...

In the past we have known about 2 at the same time but after 5 there was a bit of a gap, wonder if its was the Cv19 or is that where we split our order? Wasn't HMS Albions deployment to the pacific region in 2018 ? so maybe HMS POW in 23/24 sounds about right or maybe HMS Bulwark? maybe the french could participate with CdeG or a Mistral rather than just one of their submarines A mistral jeanne D,arc is already in India on tour. End of the day,the submarine fleet will still need a long range anti surface misslie system, if it roaming around across the world.
So it could be a French or US sub launch system bought in small numbers.

As they are contractor ownership and run.

Hopefully I can be educated here but could the Type 26 be used for the Type 32 concept, my thinking is that we already have the design or is the Type 26 not suitable for the mother ship role? So if the rumours are to believed(big IF),That 4 T23 are to be retired early out of 13 in the new review out this week. This will leave the navy with 8 T26 and 5 T31 ships expected to be ordered . With 9T23's to solder on until 2038 until the last T26's launched and 6 T45's This giving a total of 14...

I understand Navy is using the same canister. We can see the square top panels of the canisters in many photos (e.g. those on HMS Argyll). So, "what are the mushroom caps for?" is the main question. Or, "can it be more compact?". I guess the answer is yes, if someone just pays a...
