Excellent - the NLAW and Javelins helped stopped the initial attacks on Ukraine and put a stop to Putins plan - happy UK was part of that!

Pushing aside something like 200,000 often well dug in troops easier said than done ,the foliage providing cover in trees that both sides have hidden beneath will be gone allowing drones to easier find them True - also Ukraines trained soldiers are now hitting the frontlines in mass aswell, and Rus...

Good point - if the contracts are all signed - far less for the next labour goverment to walk back on if there international contractual agreements in place.

Re: The war in Ukraine

Interms of new fighters - the best choice for ukraine would be the Gripen-E with its capabilites, and ability to operatre from Roads. However, given the financial situation of ukraine - they will most likely be gifted F16s which can take on and beat anything that the Russians have. Hopefully we can ...

Starmer will use Tempest as a bargaining chip to suck up to the EU. He will be promised more "good will" in return. Whitehall will advise that this is a good deal. Groan - i hope not true !!! The only was Tempest can progress is too keep the EU away from it. Period. We have Japan onboaard...

Re: New Medium Helicopter [NMH] - (RAF & AAC)

UK defence officials have pushed back the start of the tender process for the New Medium Helicopter (NMH) programme, potentially delaying the arrival of the new rotorcraft. However, under a revised timeline, the MoD is now not expected to issue invitations to negotiate – essentially the precise req...

Something doesn't seem quite right about the fact that, if it was a truck bomb, then it must have involved a suicide bomber. That doesn't seem to be a Ukrainian modus operandi.
