I fear it’s worse and these plus MROSS-1 / MHC-OSV will also need to be RN crewed also to have any chance of getting a sustainable tanker / solid stores replenishment fleet.
Sorry, don’t agree - the is a budget and it needs to be aligned to what is needed. Even if there was new money, a re-prioritisation is still required.
That bit was great - buckling to last minute pleas that killed the carriers and Harrier force in 2010 when the direction was inevitable, and wasting £1/2bn on EMAL consultants to try and dress it up was the problem.
