Re: Multi Role Vehicle – Protected - MRV(P)

is MRV(P) British to be cancelled? or change requirement? or delay as JTLV upgrade A2 Version ? Package 1 I think we should find a Vehicle with a small flat top or full flat top for Spear 3 / Brimstone 3 / MMP (or Spike LR2) / Martlet / Starstreak / Switchblade 300+600 or supply troop or mortar auto...

Re: Javelin Anti-Tank Missile (British Army)

For the next step up from Javelin is Hero 120 or Brimstone as said on other threads moving javelin on to the RWS's around the Battalion would free up what is now the AT Platoon to become a Overwatch Platoon with Hero 120 or Brimstone with this a Mechanised Battalion could have in depth fire power l...

Re: Javelin Anti-Tank Missile (British Army)

I agree with the previous post. Rather then buying more Javelins to replace thise sent to Ukraine, I would place orders for the Spike-LR2, from the Europeans production line and join Germany and Poland as a user. It is applicable to vehicle mounting, where any platform that could mount say a Milan ...

Re: Javelin Anti-Tank Missile (British Army)

I know it is might off the topic. I think British should look replacement this ATGM with MMP (Akaron - Wrong spelling?*) Or Spike Family Due NLOS technology; which usefully datalink or Laser designator via UAV or other side force (hill) to suspire strike to tank or other target etc. Also can use hel...

Re: Royal Artillery/Royal Horse Artillery future developments

I check chinook can lift 10 ton so ur right too heavy, maybe long term replacement chinook - quad rotar aircraft could able lift this. In 2040s By the time RAF replace Chinook with something else, Coyote and 105mm gun could be gone too. Not sure for who would this solution be adopted. If it is for ...

Re: Royal Artillery/Royal Horse Artillery future developments

I'm not sure where I should put this, this or coyote. I like this system and would be good for British Army. https://www.thedefensepost.com/2022/05/09/uk-coyote-howitzers/amp/ I find it other day; it is seem like light and fast moving idea for support fire paratrooper or RM or part of light mobilit...

Re: Royal Artillery/Royal Horse Artillery future developments

Think this can move around by helicopters to become a rapid re-deployment if needed also can move around fast and small, move and quick fire and move. Questionable. Coyote is weighting some 10.5 tone alone. Hawkeye gun with cradle and digital fire control system is some 1.15 tone, L118/M119 gun has...

Re: F-35B Lightning II (RN & RAF)

Personal i think we should buy "only" 48-64 F35 B to carrier Royal Navy and they are sole user royal navy rather royal air force. Since cannot change carrier design even carrier designs can change to STOBAR or CTO-AR so it will massive increase cost best solve it is reduce F35 B number. I ...
