Think we need a UK lotering munitions/armed UCAV thread.
The 'base' drone used in Jackal is actually from a Turkish University. Allegedly 5 have been procured by the Rapid Capability Office (RCO).
Remember the Schiebel CamCopter carried 2 x LMM 10 years ago,...

The advantage with drones is that they are meant to be cheap and disposable - this Jackal may be too expensive for drone warfare given the distance being shown ? Looks nice - but either you have a bigger drone with more standoff distance, or smaller cheaper drones to get up close and personal.
The jackal is designed for up close and personal work - but it cost/risk/benefit ratio may be off ?
