Well all highly predictible........further concessions being demanded by Sein Fein. I wonder should the amendments already made to the good friday agreement and the ones demanded before they will enter into coalition talks be put to a referendum so the people can have their say on how the agreement has evolved.
Is it time to admit that Northern ireland politics isn't mature enough to be allowed out by itself?

I recon Sinn Féin is looking to squeeze the DUP (pro Brexit) voters over to UUP (anti Brexit) and that with a reduced number of Assembly Members this time they might get rid of some of the more antediluvian Loyalists.

partially suspect they want to pull more concessions and funding as well. and ramp up pressure for a border poll. SDLP has already started pushing for joint authority

There are umpteen rivers that form borders around the world, and generally the centre line is used; why not for a lough?
- or we could role-play China and Russia, and start a miniwar over some island in it like with Ussuri in the 60s (oh, wait, no islands on that map, to fight over)

so election 2/3/17 result by 4/3 will show the new 90 member assembly has same proportions. Sein Fein might win back the seat they lost to Malacy O Doherty. And then they will hold out for their preconditions to coalition talks are met. Giving them more concessions some public but as we have found out many secret. They also want another renegioation of the Good Friday Agreement to take them another step closer to the 32 county Ireland they want (preferentially a 1 party state)

well the count is on. Another try at sorting out the circus on the hill.
Sein Fein appear to want a Joint authority......fine bring it on UK can cut its funding to Northern Ireland by 50% and the Irish Government can make up the rest if it wants to go down that road.

Yes, doesn't look good. Foster should have resigned prior to the election for the sake of the unionist parties

Unionists have lost their long-enduring and highly symbolic overall majority in Stormont. Brexit and a "hard border" made the difference in my opinion. Arlene will be shedding crocodile tears for some time.

and in a couple of months time there will be another assembly election when the kindergarden get out of control again.

Galloglass brexit had nothing to do with this election and RHI was an excuse, Sein Fein lost seats last time round and that couldn't possibly be allowed to happen in their heartlands look at the effort they put into attacking the People before profit alliance! And the decision over the border is between the Irish Government and the UK government both want a soft border so the only way it will be a hard border is when Brussels dictates to the Irish government.

Galloglass has no interest in UK defence issues. He is cheering on the Scots on another site to go independent and he doesn't hide his hate for the Union and the English.

Ireland has been a graveyard for many promising political careers Mark. Mr.Brokenshire has already shot his bolt he'll be eaten alive. (completely out of his depth)

You really think there will be another election? ( I doubt it myself.)
