Have video of her in the basin, I have no idea how to post it here.
She is going through the basin gates as I type.

I see the bottom has been repainted. Good to see that she is afloat after almost a year.
Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion
As we thought, the bottom has been painted, very shiny. After all, this was not only the repair of the ship but also the moving forward of the planed very big maintance thingy.
Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion
Indeed, but she is still missing a 'few bits' which makes nippers job even more redundant.
Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion
The Phalanx were returned to depot I assume they will be refitted at some point back in her home port.
Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion
As my boatbuilder lecturer told us on our course, assume, makes an ass out of u and me.
Nipper wasn't sure when they were to be returned to ship, he will be off by then anyhow.

Or to quote a film "assumption is the mother of all f***-up's"

I knew she was fast, but I did not realise that she could reach “planing speed” with “Pompey Revs”;on.also the moving forward of the planed very big maintance thingy.

Good video here.
Nice to see POW on the move in Rosyth, they usually wait for the bad weather so we dont see a thing.
Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion
Hats off to the tugboat skippers for a job well done. Great video and soundtrack.
Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion
Indeed, Monday under the bridges is what I've heard. FOST has been going on whilst at anchor on the Forth, nipper was involved in compartment clearances for fire and flood and was noted for going 'above and beyond'
