US financial help to Israel is certainly very useful, but is pretty much the money they spend to buy US kit, and it is something to the tune of 3 billion USD a year.
It clearly isn't the explanation to their own systems and their smart adaptations and enhancements to kit they procure abroad.

A lot of it actually goes to co-development programes too ('Arrow' for example) and, also, since the F-35 is US kit i could well see Israeli enhancements falling under aid provisions, no?Gabriele wrote:US financial help to Israel is certainly very useful, but is pretty much the money they spend to buy US kit, and it is something to the tune of 3 billion USD a year.

It must be nice to be given $3 billion every year to spend on US kit! No wonder Israel has such a large well equipped military.

Well committing genocide and a gradual occupation isn't cheap!WhitestElephant wrote:It must be nice to be given $3 billion every year to spend on US kit! No wonder Israel has such a large well equipped military.
It's a shame that US republicans didn't believe the UK was the key to getting them into heaven otherwise we could have a carrier full of Dave-B's for free.

If only we'd taken Blake's advice and built Jerusalem in England's green and pleasant land.WhiteWhale wrote:It's a shame that US republicans didn't believe the UK was the key to getting them into heaven otherwise we could have a carrier full of Dave-B's for free.WhitestElephant wrote:It must be nice to be given $3 billion every year to spend on US kit! Genocide ?? the middle east is full of countries with questionable human rights ,some with vast oil reserves also receive the benefit of arms deals and specialised training to assist the regimes from changing
