Don't see a real need for Fort Victoria, except as training.

Reads like she will have double figure amount of F35 onboard then ? 3 from 17 squadron? seem to remember 7 from 617 being mentioned & a few from usmc 4 ? with rotary assets aswell, not to shabby for her second fixed wing trials.

Have to imagine that by "DC area" they mean Baltimore, unless they're just planning to anchor in the Chesapeake somewhere and call it close enough.

Presuming they're all on board at the same time. I'd sure like to see the deck kitted out with that many plus the helicopters

Would be great to see a Harrier drop on board from Italy or the USMC.

Some French helos too, to collect them into the growing list.

In many ways it would be good. I think the scale of QE with a Harrier on board would be an interesting view.

But at the same time it would ignite the entire 'should have retained Harrier' argument and 'we could have had an operational carrier now' arguments...

Must have been a windy day! The flag on the stern is pointing forard even though they're making a decent speed under the bridges. Wouldn't have wanted to be the person making the video up there on the bridge!

For that reason, we are more likely to see it happen after she has first deployed operationally with the F35B (if at all)

Just arrived back from a trip to Berwick upon Tweed, and so had to get the train to North Queensferry, just to see PoW. Although I couldn't get a decent photo, only one tent on her deck, roughly mid ships, nothing on the stern. Can't be long now to sea trials.

PoW has had her pennant number painted on her forward island sometime between 6th April and 21st May. Noticed something a bit curious.

PoW's R09 doesnt have the white outline. Unfinished work, or a new style?

Nor does he seemingly know much of RN carrier aviation before the Invincible Class ... "Most of our previous Carriers have had Ski-Ramps". Three out of how many? The mind boggles.

Factual errors aside tis a great video, question for the wiser souls amongst you, when (if ever!?) will they fit the 30mm DS30M Cannons, I can see the phalanx but nothing else on the ship.
