Its exactly 5 years to the day today (9th September) since PoW began assembly in Rosyth's Dock 1 on 9th September 2014.

Well I know that PWLS is supposed to be alongside for December, and I'm pretty sure QNLZ is due back by then. I'm definitely going to get a harbour tour when they are both in.

Local radio news is confirming that PWLS will be in Pompey at some point in December, quoting RN announcement but nothing that I've seen so far.

She has cracked 29.2 knots at 12:30 UTC off the coast of the Isle of Wight.

Smokey also captured it - with speed data - and posted it on 18th August 2017 (see page 237)

Well I have it on good authority that one of the modifications to PWLS was to secretly build opening ports to allow all AB's on board to deploy oars to assist in beating this speed! Unfortunately they couldn't afford a magnetohydrodynamic drive
