Shows how some of those much desired features left out of the Invincible class have been added as requested. Height of the hangar in the Invincibles was always a pain in the you know what

Great Pics!!! I don't think we will truly appreciate QNLZ's size until we see a full compliment of F35's embarked.

I am hoping that with HMS Albion now in the med, HMS Duncan will soon be heading back to the UK and that it can link up with HMS QE, HMS Somerset and RFA Wave Ruler. All we need then is an Astute to pop its head up and we have ourselfs a mini carrier group.

I'm pretty sure Duncan will move on to the gulf for Kipion duties. Dragon was getting ready for something, though, and Defender is working up post refit.

Enough to deploy, at least. But it'll take the change of the diesels, begging in 2019, to truly remove ( hopefully) the vulnerability.

(GBC News)
The Royal Navy's aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth left Gibraltar this morning. She'll continue sea trials and test capability and response in different weather conditions. In a tweet this morning, the ship thanked the Rock for its hospitality, saying she's leaving, rested, recuperated and with stores replenished for the next chapter.

The ship has been berthed at the Port over the past three days with the Ministry of Defence aiming to invest in the current infrastucture to enable it to host aircraft carriers at the Naval Base in future.
