Wonder if Tidespring will be out of Falmouth by the time she arrives in the UK?

Tidespring's departure appears to be imminent. Falmouth Harbour Commissioners shipping movements had a provisional movement date of the 3rd August earlier today but that's been removed from the site and presumably postponed. She's been berthed alongside Duchy Wharf for a few weeks now, with RFA Cardigan Bay taking her place in the main dry dock.

On another note, in case anyone's interested, satellite imagery for Cornwall has been updated recently, and Tidespring features in it. Image

Looks like she’s turned and heading back towards Korea.

Looks like it was taken before the dockside crane toppled over?

Negative, it's collapsed in the pic, just kinda hard to tell due to the angle.

Awesome, another 2 to go in 4 moths then. Apparently the target of all delivered by 2018 still stands.

Does anyone know when Tiderace arrives in Falmouth?

Crossing two oceans doesn't constitute a sea trial?

Presumably these trials will focus on the new systems fitted in Falmouth, as well as flight trials.

Thanks for the pictures Kyle, she looks much better with a fresh coat of paint.

No guns tho. Or if there were I didn't see them.

Looking forward to a picture of her refueling QE.

Also a picture of a new border force boat for good luck!

I think these days weapons are only fitted to an RFA prior to a gulf deployment.

Also looking forward to seeing her refueling QE, nice to see the pieces coming together at the right time.
