Yet the Dutch are replacing their Goalkeepers with a combination of RAM launchers and Dart munitions for their OTO 76mm. Most nations in fact seem to be either replacing or supplementing their 20mm and 30mm CIWS with weapons like RAM. We do have Sea Ceptor that can to a very could job against swarm...

I think that the RN will never get these LSGs. Just an empty talk. If they wanted that to happen, they would allready done something tangible about that.

Giving the I-SSGW a land attack capability should be seen as a nice to have rather than a essential capability. Because we've fired an SSM from an escort at a ship never. It would have been a nice option against a land target in the Falklands, Gulf 1 & 2, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Libya, Syria. Oh ...

I would rather accept 12, but with 4 ASMs instead of 12 additional CAMMs and torpedo launchers instead of additional 8.
