I wasn't certain if the section of "ramp" seen in the photo belongs in that area (it looks too steep and high) It does look too high for that location and also too far away from the port edge as well. The angle the photo was taken can be misleading the eye! The build is seriously cracking...

Just to let you all know....POW FWD Island is sitting at the front of No.1 dock just next to the starboard bow. Basically in the same place QE's was, for all of us who were lucky enough to visit her that day.

Unfortunately not SKB my view faces the starboard beam, however I can see the crane clearly so I'll know which side the lift is on.

She is being loaded onto the dockside as at time of writing. Unfortunately no pics as i cannot for the life of me find the batteries for my camera. Soz folks. No camera on the mobile? ;) As much as I love my iPhone 6+ it can't take pics from a mile and half away. Need the zoom lens on my Fuji.
