Do not forget that "Adaptable" means that the platform should be capable of that for the export market. The most likely case is we only get the "Core" requirements.

Same old story. Plan big such as 12 type 45s and 13 type 26s, half way through remember that we suck at planning and cut the original plan to shreds and try and make do until we can find the money. Same with the type 31, we most likely planned to have VLS launched anti-ship missiles in a couple year...

Do people really think a Wildcat or Merlin carrying a Martlet (5 Mile range) or a Sea Venom (12 Mile range) which are designed for destroying small and medium sized vessels no bigger than a corvette are a match for even a corvette or a frigate carrying ASMs with a range of up to 400 Miles and A...

It having at least a 127mm gun and a Phalanx are a positive sign. It has gotta have a CAMM system on it. On previous images it shows the two launch silos just behind the 127mm, you can just about see the square boxes on the latest image. I don't however see any containerized anti-ship missiles been ...

No. It had good intentions but as with all long term plans with the UK forces it has turned in to a giant screw up as usual with the army now committed to bringing these vehicles in to service, at the cost of other valuable assets.
