Happy 204th anniversary! Despite their claims, it wasn't the Canadians who did it, it was the British, as "Canada" didn't begin until 1st July 1867.

Found an image showing the numbered landing spots. There seem to be at least 6 marked spots and they also coincide with these horizontal white lines painted across the flight deck from port to starboard, and are presumably highlighted for vertical landing guidance, also doubling as parking spots.
