Re: Current & Future Escorts - General Discussion
& also crewing the extra hulls require more money aswell...a few T31 lo end ships ( 24camm etc + 2 or 3 hulls with mk41 ) & forward based is good to bulk out the fleet, but would prefer more T26 rather than more tier2 ships, ok might be different if the budget increased

Re: Future UK Combat Aircraft (Project Tempest)
Lets hope that the question comes up before the election weather Labour backs it or not - personaly i think its a no brainer ! especially as it will be our nations main jet to have a greater say in its capabilitys & upgrades etc even if it ends up as an home grown F22 it better than more f35 - i...

Re: River Class (OPV) (RN)

Re: Eurofighter Typhoon (RAF)
The doubts on the ECR version isnt if it is possibile, but at which cost. I really dont see the German Taxpayer accepting to pay more money for the ECR version when the F-35 is cheaper. Producing an ECR version would be absurdly expensive, I think. For such a proposal to be considered, the cost sho...

Would the drone be more limited by weather than a merlin aswell ? on the flip side though - the drone is way more expendable the crew of the merlin ! but would still like to have J -ASROC weopon for speed, more options are good to have in a potential life & death situation
