Spoke to nipper earlier tonight, they are hanging around off Lyme Bay and ship has been performing well. Got some Chinooks and an Apache on board, due home soon after planned shake down ends and then off out again not long after.

Not sure. As stated above, PWLS has already done sea trials with F35B's. US in April is not what I've heard, somewhere colder first and states later in the year. Due to phone issue forgot to add that yesterday was the 2nd anniversary of nipper ending his banishment to Rosyth and sailing into Pompey on PWLS.
Hopefully he can extend his time onboard for next year when she is due to go off out too many cold, and warm, places.
