Looking at the picture the tent is to the right of the ramp so not likely thermion coating, stuck elevators or the like. Probably not for a party as the Hangar is plenty big enough for that. So could it just be storage for contractors doing work on deck.

One of the reasons early Radomes were white was to keep the temperature within cool. More modern electronics does not generate so much heat and radomes can come in a variety of colours. Metal based paint acts as an attenuator to high frequency radio waves, it is less of a problem at lower frequencie...

The sale of a few f35b to Japan and Korea would be good for the UK , possibly opening up opportunities for them to be flown of the QE class in exercises, in addition to the benefits in producing parts here in the UK.

Belgian Defence invests in Airbus A330-MRTT Multi-Role Tanker/Transport plane I see that from the quoted article these planes are joining the NATO pool. Interesting that they have booms fitted and we don't. A missed opportunity as we have several planes in our fleet that need to be refuelled in tha...

While obviously a problem 200 litres an hour will easily be handled by the ships pumps. And as the article suggests will be fixed in port.

maybe its just the camera angle and looks a hell of a lot bigger if you in it It is a lot bigger than it appears in these pictures. In addition there are works areas for engines, avionics, and general workshops and stores not shown in these pictures. I would imagine not all the aircraft will be in ...

As I understand it Bae will still lose 2000 jobs around the country. This order will just keep the Typhoon line ticking over if it happens.
