Although Australia is engaging with allies in the Pacific in response to China,s operations N.A.T.O seems engaged in reaching some consensus on how to react to China . Germany would suggest fixating on Russia without itself lifting spending on its defence budget https://www.iiss.org/blogs/analysis/2...

Rather good JMSDF video of Pacific Crown 21 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-cR35rhn5M UK MoD rushes.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2749KQZpnc The second video appears to be of an earlier event. Interesting comparing the wakes of the ships the Izumo class appears to create a lot of disturbance...

There have been potential developments in the S.H.O.R.A.D role of older naval guns with the trials of hypersonic rounds as an anti missile weapon, the article from just two years ago would suggest that such rounds would augment a ships ability to counter threats without having to use the more expens...

I would hope that the R.A N accepts a submarine that is on par with cutting edge acoustics certainly there is reason to believe that not only Russia,s submarines are close to parity in this with the U.S.Ns but within a few years the P.L.A.Ns will be too https://nationalinterest.org/blog/reboot/chine...

The use of deployable artillery to quickly counter a cruise missile is interesting but left me wondering how the sensors were arranged for said cannon to target the missile The Artillery batteries had no problem during WW2 knocking down the flying bombs the Germans sent over. Avoiding vibration injuries cannot be just addressed by headsets the contact point of the vibration may be from the floor to the feet from the uninsulated seat, from contact points to the hands https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/docs/83-110/default.html https://www.healthyworkinglives.scot/workplace-guidanc...

But that's the problem ppe does not address vibration hazards it requires an engineering solution, there are known solutions that would reduce vibration
