280m seems accurate, I just edited my photoshop of the QEvsCVN image I uploaded earlier to make the image as wide and as "long" as a CVN at 3330 pixels across. Then I measured how many pixels "long" the QE is, its 2800 pixels. So 280m it is. And I measured her width, she IS 73m w...

Just done a measurement of QE's overall length from that aerial photo, the QE is exactly 280 metres long when compared to a 333 metre long CVN.
