Regarding fitness, I have no idea whether RAF standards are lower than the army, but it is the case that basic training is pretty tough and if she uses a inhaler or needs one then i imagine they may say no. But worth a try.

Maybe she should join the RAF as a Loadmaster.

I read a few months back that Raytheon had built a laser capable of taking out drones, and that one had been sent to the UK for mounting on a Wolfhound army vehicle presumably for trials.
