Re: Brexit - The UK's EU Referendum & Withdrawal

I'm just wondering how much it will hurt Boris and the Tory party when as most of us on here I think ?(could be wrong definitely)When Boris does in deed cave in to EU demands on fishing and level playing fields and has no intention of no deal and a total bluffer ,after all his hard stand words even ...

Re: Future UK Combat Aircraft (Project Tempest)

Probably not very if we can't attract some other major investors like Japan , Australia,Canada, Saudi etc ( just throwing a few names in the mix but not exclusive ) but hopefully not France/Germany ,that would be a very sad day / admission that UK plc can't attract other major countries without Fran...

Re: Integrated Review (previously SDSR 2020)

Yes I agree think there going to be a large decrease in equipment ie tanks ,planes, ships actual fighting hardware to more of just monitoring/ detection equipment be it autonomous drones to more laptops ,not sure how that going to play out if a shooting war started with critical low mass of hardware ...

Not as bad as the EU at odds with reality that the UK as an independent country has to keep excepting EU rules even tho we not part of the EU now ,now that's dribblings and good luck to EU on that ,as I said we can both play that game ,wto

Re: Brexit - The UK's EU Referendum & Withdrawal

Why would eu be worried about sick man of Europe lol ,we both go our separate ways and be gracious about it , sniping shouldnt be needed ,the thing is pseudo the UK and EU were always going to come to a parting at some point ,both sides want different things ,we have always been happy with the old E...

Re: Brexit - The UK's EU Referendum & Withdrawal

Well pseudo could be the last second deal to put pressure on either side as per usual but to tell you the truth I'm really really hoping both sides don't give in , think at this stage it's the best thing for both sides and that's what both sides are really hoping for I think ,Europe said they not ar...

Re: French Armed Forces

When did the last president scrap the French carrier program ie going to leave the French navy without a carrier ? I know they cut a carrier program to only 1 because of financial reasons from 2 carriers but they still had 1 new one going forwards ie c de q ,if as you say they they scrap then they g...

Your forgetting serge750 the MOD would only ask for a couple of ribs of Australia for pow ,they tend to just give away stuff and try spin it's a good deal ,and kinda don't think Australia would go as far as a qe class size but something like it's Cavour would be great for them ,in fact think will ri...
