Doing some reading on the L85A2 and A3 it seems the British Army has plans to start introducing a replacement around 2025... With the A3 just being introduced, I can see the MoD's search for a new rifle starting in / after 2025 with an introduction to service around 2030... Basically giving the Yan...

Can anyone tell me when the French Armed Forces started to adopt the 7.62mm FN MAG General Purpose Machine Gun? I have just watched a video of a recent French Army Live Mobility Demonstration and a number of vehicles and helicopters were equipped with this weapon. Apparently 2010 / 2011 timeframe.....

Even if Boeing actually sorts out the KC-46, I think the USAF will make sure they get some KC-45's in the next competition...
