Re: Type 26 Global Combat Ship [News Only]

but even worse I feel as if BAE are going to get the contract So, is your feeling that the whole SJP report was arranged for just to scare BAES into realistic pricing? I just have a "feeling" as they say, feeling is that we'll be disappointed by the type 31 even more so than some are now ...

I feel like the Type 31 is here to stay but even worse I feel as if BAE are going to get the contract and we'll be stuck with the stretched out OPV that is Avenger..

Well the rumour going around is that they're only announcing an order for the first THREE! Nothing like saving money in the short term to add a massive chunk onto the overal cost. They never learn

Anything to do with the 3' do-not-cut warning on the same piccie?
Maybe the frame is wrapped in some form of vinyl instead of receiving the paint? That or 3' do-not-cut warning may itself be a sticker that stretches over the frame?

Re: F-35B Lightning II (RN & RAF)

This point was picked up by somebody else on a different forum but does the canopy frame appear to have air bubbles in it like a poorly applied sticker?

It's a shame that she's in service for the next 50 years and through that time I'll forever associate it with that image of a sad cat
