Hopefully we will re Reforger style exercises in the not too distant future but probably on a much smaller scale. Whereas in the past it could be up to Brigade size simulating the moving of a Division, we will probably see a Regiment/Battalion sized formation simulating a Brigade. Probably just a T...

Re: Russian Armed Forces

Of course they are entitled to build on their own territory, but doing so when things are a little warm shall we say isn't being diplomatic, but rather the opposite, basically what we have come to accept from Russia and China. In the meantime, NATO has expanded eastward, including former Soviet ter...

Re: Type 31 General Purpose Frigate [News Only]

The Albion class are labour intensive warships, I doubt they’d appeal to a small neutral nation..?

Being neutral, Scotland wouldn’t reinforce anyone.

Re: FV4034 Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank (British Army)

You’re right Mr Fred, clothing wasn’t a factor of the cause. Clothing exists that can mitigate against the burns received by the crew. Not sure by how much after 5-8 seconds trapped inside of a propellant inferno? Clearly not as urgent as the training and safety standards requiring suitable revisions.

Re: FV4034 Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank (British Army)

Aircrew receive flame retardant clothing for their role.

Hopefully armour crews will now get the same or similar.

NOMEX is also available in black (in case the RTR are reading...)
