Re: Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers - News and Discussion

I missed that. Do you have any pictures? Sorry mate no. I was watching the RN feed on FB. Second last group of officers to leave had one lass in a blue US uniform at the front & another at the back. Not USN or USMC & unlikely I'd have thought to be USAF so I'm assuming Coast Guard given the...

Re: 2017 General Election

I don't know what will happen, but I know what I want to do right now.... Punch everyone of these little wankstain, snowflake millennial cunts in the face who voted for an IRA lackey to be PM. Words cannot adequately describe how utterly ashamed I am of this country right now, it has a po...

Re: 2017 General Election

Shame the alternative is not very convincing , sent off my postal vote today when last week I wasn't going to bother , kept away from the "debates" and haven't engaged with any of it .

Re: 2017 General Election

"Parliament was officially dissolved at one minute past midnight. There are now no current MP's..." - Does this mean none of them are getting paid or can claim expenses until after the election? :D if so. Gee that dosnt sound right, technically if that statement is right there is no form ...

Re: Labour Party

Just when the country needs an strong effective opposition we get this , enough to make you weep . Have we ever had a time when we have such inept party leaders ? . Farron , Sturgeon and Corbyn just seem to be so out of touch with most of the electorate/country . Not sure about May at the moment but...

Re: Brexit - The UK's EU Referendum & Withdrawal

So backing it`s biggest export market , a significant military and intelligence ally within it`s sphere of influence into a corner with constant briefings about how we will be made to pay for daring to leave the EU is really all about them trying to protect themselves and achieve the best outcome f...

Re: Brexit - The UK's EU Referendum & Withdrawal

I think the Polish/Germans/Spanish and every other NATO member etc should look after and pay (2%) for their own security , they are only interested in spending the bare minimum , its not for our overstretched , underfunded ( £178 billion equipment budget in the next decade blah blah blah ) military ...

Re: Brexit - The UK's EU Referendum & Withdrawal

I remember writing on this thread before the referendum that the one thing that concerned me about leaving was do we have the politicians to actually make this work , I am still concerned . What I have found disturbing/surprising etc is the amount of politicians/media/public that seem to have more o...

Re: Brexit - The UK's European Union Referendum

when that is finalised let sturgeon have her 2nd referendum , either the UK or the EU . I wish it was that straightforward (and agree with the sequence). But will it, for the latter, be the - Swiss/ Norwegian/ Greenland model? (Only the last one applicable as it is about leaving and rejoining). - o...

Re: Brexit - The UK's European Union Referendum

Let the Prime minister negotiate the leaving terms with the EU and when that is finalised let sturgeon have her 2nd referendum , either the UK or the EU . Personally would probably prefer the latter if it means not having the intolerant bigots beamed into my front room .

Re: European Union Referendum - Stay or Leave?

Well postal vote was sent off today , kind of switched off to the " debate " the last few weeks , didn't even bother with the Cameron and Gove interviews to be honest , happy that I gave it some thought and tried to take the time to find out the issues even though it was hard to find answe...

Marvelous to see her coming to life. Re: European Union Referendum - Stay or Leave?

Cant quite work out why the " official " polls you see on for instance SKY or BBC seem to have the leave and remain sides neck and neck but for a few points here and there , but every other poll I see on forums like this and others seem to be so one sided . Also a lot of comments about &qu...
