Makes sense having Wedgetail , commonality of parts with P8 Poseidon , on order . Australia operates exactly same duo , perhaps shared training too.

Very sensible , according to Jane's . £50 million approx per aircraft off parts. A balancing act too , as the F35 fleet will build up , so the Typhoon fleet will decrease .

I read the posts carefully , and with the majority off the P8 , based on the Boeing 737 , a commercial product and 1000s flying , costs for majority off spares must be good . If in emergency , go to EasyJet , Ryanair , and all the others that fly the 737 , and pinch their spares. Can see why , was c...

the old early nuclear submarine names should be used , Dreadnought , Churchill , Valiant and Warspite , the old hulks holding these names at the dockyards may have been broken up , by the time they come in to service.

Some pictures from the Boness road last Saturday. On return across the Forth bridge today , Queen Elizabeth's radar rotating and forward funnel smoking well , could not stop , but looked good.
